Bio: R. Scott LaNeve is Senior Vice President of High Value Care and Precision Health at hc1.com, the world leader in transforming ordinary lab data into extraordinary healthcare insights. A 30-year lab industry veteran, Scott worked for lab system manufacturers such as Abbott Diagnostics, Boehringer Mannheim (now Roche), but more recently held senior commercial leadership roles at Quest Diagnostics and the American Institute of Toxicology (AIT Labs). Scott has become a national advocate for the prevention of opioid misuse through more vigilant patient monitoring and has spent the last six years focused exclusively on developing clinical solutions and protocol support programs around the national opioid epidemic. His work in the field of prescription drug misuse connected him to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), more than a dozen state governments, members of US Congress, and thousands of healthcare providers and health system leaders all over the country. Scott LaNeve has conducted seminars on the opioid crisis, led town hall meetings, and chaired the 2017 International Opioid Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from West Virginia University and he is a former Army officer and combat veteran.
