Bio: Juliana Iles-Mann has had extensive management experience in the public health sector, including organisational strategic planning, policy development and implementation, service quality, ICT management and project management with a focus on improving resource utilisation, implementing strategies to enable organisational efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness.
Joining initially as a biomedical scientist and gaining post graduate qualifications in Business Management, throughout her career in NSW Health Pathology, Juliana has held several senior and executive positions and has led a broad range of implementation and strategic initiatives, working collaboratively with all levels of clinical and laboratory staff in relation to the promotion and implementation of laboratory efficiency and point of care strategies.
As Director, ICT Client and Business Services, Juliana is responsible for overseeing and managing both the operational and planning aspects of customer facing ICT services, to ensure that value is realised from ICT assets, investments and capabilities. She is responsible for initiating and leading ongoing service improvement activities within the ICT service delivery lifecycle, looking for opportunities to improve the performance of services to deliver enhanced value to the business. The portfolio is also responsible for the oversight and strategic direction for the implementation of a state-wide LIS across its 66 Lab network. The primary objective of this position is the continuous strategic management and planning of ICT initiatives to provide sound leadership and continued development of a cohesive ICT service, capable of delivering the business systems needed to achieve and exceed organisational objectives.
